He always talked about the damn car, but sometimes he could get Jim to admit the truth about that day. It took a few drinks and some doing. But Jim would always cave. He’d tell Bones all about his brother and Frank, what it was like to live in that house. Without his mom. Without his dad. His brother was the last one to give up on him. No matter what he did, everyone always left in the end.
